Behind every figure lies a story: that of a company which chose Western Switzerland as the place to take its next step. In 2025, 91 foreign companies made that choice, drawn by the region’s institutional stability, infrastructure quality, and the strength of its innovation ecosystems.

Among them, a wide range of profiles. Meanwhile, a French robotics start-up, found in Fribourg the ideal environment to grow its European operations. DECUBE, a Belgian group specializing in electrical infrastructure, is now established in Neuchâtel. Paragon Mobility joined the Switzerland Innovation Park Biel/Bienne in the canton of Bern. Kairos Quantum Solutions, a Korean company specializing in quantum technologies, is now based in the canton of Vaud. And Zen-Noh, a major Japanese commodities trading group, chose Geneva to establish its presence in Switzerland.
